MONUMENTS: 'Gnosis' Cover Art Unveiled; New Song Available For Streaming
June 28, 2012London, England-based tech-metal quintet MONUMENTS will release its long-awaited debut album, "Gnosis", out August 27 in Europe, August 28 in North America and August 31 in Australia/New Zealand through Century Media Records.
A song from the CD, "Doxa", can now be streamed in the YouTube clip below.
"Gnosis" was originally supposed to be released last year via Basick Records. MONUMENTS has since split with the U.K.-based label, which issued the band's debut EP, "We Are The Foundation", in 2010.
MONUMENTS recently recruited singer Matt Rose after they went through a long, grinding, and global search for a new frontman. "We have found the perfect guy right here in our own back yard, we couldn't be happier with the work Matt has done so far," said MONUMENTS guitarist John Browne.
For the past eight months, Rose has been working with the band to make this a monster of an album. Rose entered Fortress Studios last month with Dan Weller (SIKTH) for final vocal production and recording.
MONUMENTS is:
John Browne - Guitar
Olly Steele - Guitar
Adam Swan - Bass
Mike Malyan - Drums
Matt Rose - Vocals
